PARANORMAL INVESTIGATIONS

We offer overnight stays for the braver curiosity-seeker investigators.  There are eight themed suites available.  Investigation stays are for Fridays and Saturdays, or Sundays.  Check in is 6pm ish (but we can meet you earlier if needed).  Stays include the full guided haunted historic hotel tour after dark.  This takes about an hour and a half.  About once a month after the tours a guest will be so freaked out they say, “We’re leaving.  Too scary.”  If you’ve braved it this far, you are next encouraged to explore the 32 room building on your own.  Eventually your personal suite awaits.  Stays include full access to each room’s exclusive themed film libraries for your private screenings.  You might bring a flashlight and camera as you are encouraged to explore deep into the night the entire creepy haunted hotel with all it’s creative art works to your heart’s content.  Very often guests claim their camera batteries drain within an hour of entering the hotel, due to ghosts, so bring your chargers too.  Teams are allowed to film and post anything they like from their visits.  Check out is noon the following day.

We offer the entire hotel to ghost hunting teams.  You may video or photograph or post live in any way you wish.  All eight themed suites, halls, hotel kitchen, other rooms, ship bar, seance parlour, etc all included.  If your team can ONLY make a week night let us know and we probably can open up for you.

(Note: We also offer a “Gold Star” First Class haunted stay for couples who wish to be alone in the entire hotel, access to every room, alone.  A little like the isolation of Jack Nicholson in the Shining… $450.)

9. The Canopy Room

The Canopy Room is where most paranormal teams make their focus because it offers the most consistent -and ominous- evidence of the paranormal.  For more information on the Midway’s Canopy Room find it and all our ghost stories in the next section of exploring the Midway.  (Please note: the Canopy Room is also available for overnight stays if you really want it, but we do not recommend this room.  8 out of 10 guests do NOT stay the entire night in the Canopy Room.  We find them across the hall sleeping in another room by morning.  It is not cozy nor comfortable in any way, it is creepy.  Guests play Ouija in this room and pretty regularly the board spells out “Get Out / Game Over.” )  Whatever other suite you choose to stay in you’ll still have access to this room to check out at all hours.
