The beautiful, mysterious Werewolf Park is in the direct center of the sleepy little town of Windber.  It is a highly romanticized triangle-shaped strip of land of land surrounded by three streets.  The Grand Midway Hotel sits along the center of the park grounds.    The park and lands surrounding it are werewolf magic mysterious…  There is almost a 1950s miniature trainset look to the community.  Trains run daily transporting endless boxcars of coal.   The official name of the park is Miner’s Park, named for the town’s incredible coal mining heritage.  Werewolf Park is an unofficial name.  But now you know…

Today, we can still find Windber’s historic gazebo!  Back in the day people would come from miles away to see bands perform here every week.  (This is also the very “Magic Gazebo” highlighted in The Werewolf Lotus.)
